Our Story

Lift Up Lives Foundation was established in 2022 with a core mission to address the pressing socio-economic challenges faced by vulnerable children, youth, women, and people with disabilities in both rural and urban areas of North Western Province, Zambia. The foundation's primary goal is to reduce poverty, combat illiteracy, improve access to healthcare, and create sustainable opportunities for those who are often overlooked by mainstream development efforts. The inception of the foundation is deeply personal, driven by the vision of its founder, Chrispin Mapulanga. Born and raised in a rural town under challenging circumstances, Chrispin was raised by a single mother who, despite her own financial constraints, instilled in him the importance of education and perseverance. His journey through education was not without its struggles. Faced with limited financial resources, Chrispin relied on the support of his determined mother and well-wishers to complete his secondary education and pursue tertiary studies. This experience shaped his resolve to give back to his community and to those facing similar struggles.
